1. YOU REGISTER AS A CUSTOMER

A professional user, i.e. a (representative of a) real estate agent, building promoter, notary public, property consultant, surveyor or architect makes a registration request via the customer service of Immoweb in order to become a customer, purchase products and services and gain access to the environment for professionals (https://pro.immoweb.be/; "Portal").

1.1. The personal data we collect

When you register with us as a (representative of a) customer and professional user and create an account, we collect the following personal data:

When using your account, we also collect data on your use of your account and our services via so-called activity logs. The party responsible for processing this personal data is Immoweb.

1.2. The purpose for which we process your personal data

We process this personal data in order to be able to offer you our products and services and to register you securely on the Portal. This also includes the processing of this personal data for order, invoice and payment processing purposes. We rely on the performance of the contract you enter into with us when you become a customer of ours for your own account and purchase our products and services. If you represent a customer, we rely on the legitimate interest to be able to execute the agreements with our customers and to perform normal customer management. You understand that we cannot register you as a customer or a representative of a customer, provide you with products and services or complete your registration on the Portal if we are not allowed to process this personal data.

We also use your personal data to engage in normal customer relationship management, for which we rely on our legitimate interest to develop normal commercial relationships with our customers. This includes organising and participating in events, webinars and similar events.

We also process your personal data for the purpose of making statistical analyses regarding your use of our products and services, to develop new products and services and to improve the Portal. For this processing, we rely on our legitimate interest to gain insights into how our customers use and experience our products, services and portals.

We also process your personal data to send you commercial e-mails and newsletters about our products and services. For this, we rely on our legitimate interest to be able to send our existing customers marketing material via email for similar goods and services to those they already purchase from us. You may object to receiving these emails at any time by unsubscribing. To do so, you can use the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our e-mail communications. You can also change your preferences in our Portal.

We collect and use your phone number to contact you about potential real estate buyers and/or sellers when you sign up for one of our products that aim to connect our customers with such potential real estate buyers and/or sellers. For this, we rely on the necessity of performing our agreement with you because we are not able to offer you such products if we cannot contact you via phone. Phone calls with you are also recorded as evidence of business communication. We rely on our legitimate interest to be able to prove the content of such communication for making these recordings.

1.3. How long we keep this personal data

The aforementioned personal data will be kept in identifiable form for ten (10) years after our relationship with you or your employer/client has ended, unless we receive earlier notification from your employer/client that you have changed position or are no longer employed/engaged by this employer/client.
